Lionel Control & Power Supplies 1908080 Editorial Review

The CW80 Transformer is an AC power unit primarily used for a 3 rail O gauge layout. It is not compatible with DC, HO scale, or Lionel trolley train sets. The transformer does not control announcements and only supplies power to the train. The reviews of the product were mixed, with some customers reporting that their unit had an internal, non-replaceable fuse that burned out, while others were happy with its performance. Several customers were satisfied with its speed control and its ability to handle an O Scale layout.
