Bethesda Games 17075 Editorial Review
**** Dishonored 2 has garnered a mix of reviews from gamers, often dividing opinion primarily on performance issues and gameplay mechanics. Many players have praised the game’s engaging atmosphere, art style, and the immersive steampunk environment, which is visually appealing even if it doesn't reach the graphical heights of some contemporary titles like Battlefield 1. The freedom granted by the choice of playing as either Corvo or Emily, each with unique powers, is highlighted as a significant positive, enhancing the game's replayability. However, the technical performance often detracts from the overall experience. While high-end users report smooth gameplay with optimal graphics settings, others, even those with decent specifications, have faced frame rate drops and crashes. This inConsistency has led some users to recommend waiting for further patches before diving in. Additionally, few players expressed frustration with certain AI behaviors and the steeper difficulty curve of adjusting to gameplay elements from the previous title. Despite these pitfalls, many enthusiasts of the series find the game to be a worthwhile investment, suggesting it shines in creativity and exploration. The enjoyment of diverse character powers, coupled with well-crafted side missions, contributes to a gripping adventure. As the community awaits improvements and fixes, early impressions reflect a game that has both great potential and notable vulnerabilities. **
