- Opti-Heal Hydration Multi Purpose hydrogel burn bandages are a self-adhesive (via acrylic adhesive surround), translucent, flexible gel with excellent absorbability. The hydrogel wound burn patches feature a Hydrogel Layer, which has a cooling and soothing effect on the skin. These are also gel bandages for wounds, as they collect excess exudate whilst maintaining a moist healing environment for accelerated healing. These hydrogel wound dressing pads can absorb wound exudate from lightly exudating wounds, whilst still maintaining a moist healing environment, which hastens epithelization and reduces healing time, making them excellent first aid supplies. Each Hydration Dressing offers dynamic moisture management for optimum wound care and healing. Being breathable, each hydrogel wound dressing allows moisture vapour to escape from the wound while preventing foreign liquid from entering, offering a waterproof barrier. These burn bandages maintain an appropriate level of moisture at the wound site which can help accelerate wound healing with reduced pain and scarring. These are gel adhesive pads which adhere via an acrylic adhesive surround. This means these are self-adhesive burn pads for 2nd degree burns, with no need for affixing tape or a secondary dressing to hold these burn gel pads in place. The adhesive surround of each hydrogel burn dressing also forms the 360° seal, which is showerproof and protects the wound from dirt and germs. This means the wound gel pads provide a barrier against wound contamination from external sources, making them excellent sterile bandages for wound care. As advanced wound gel pads they are translucent for easy wound monitoring, making them great hydrogel dressings for advanced wound management. They are burn bandages large in size yet flexible for comfort during wear, moving with your body. Part of the Opti-Heal range of advanced wound care & dressings, Hydration Multi Purpose Dressings are best as burn dressings and bandages for 1st and 2nd degree burns, offering excellent second degree burn treatment. As medical supplies for wound care they are also ideal as a burn dressing for sun and radiation burns and as hydrogel bandages for dry wounds in need of hydration. Each burn bandage hydrogel dressing can be worn for up to three days for uninterrupted accelerated healing. Skin heals better, faster, with reduced scarring. Additionally, skin damage to surrounding tissue is decreased with less trauma and maceration resulting in a better user experience during wear with reduced pain.

| Stop Use Indications | For external use only. Do not use on serious or chronic burns or wounds., Adverse reaction: Occasionally dermal hypersensitive reaction. Not to be used by people with a known sensitivity to Hydrogel or other similar polymers. If you do develop a rash or experience an adverse reaction discontinue use and seek medical advice. Do not use if individual wrappers are open or damaged. Use each dressing only once. Do not cut the dressing, the dressing must remain intact. Do not use on infected wounds. Keep out of the sight and reach of children., Do not use after expiry date – see base of pack. If the wound does not appear to heal or continues to bleed becomes reddened or swollen seek medical advice. Each product should not be used for more than 3 days and the products cannot be used continuously for more than 30 days. The product cannot replace medication, and combined therapy should be applied under the doctor's advice when there is severe infection. For patients with High Blood Pressure, the product should be used with caution, and the patient should be treated immediately if there is allergic reaction. Store in a cool dry place (41 - 104°F) away from direct heat and sunlight. |
